Sub-Branch Executive Committees (SBEC)
The Sub-Branch Executive Committees (SBEC) are formed at the constituency or sub-county level after party elections, and each sub-branch is accountable to the Branch Executive Committee. The SBEC consists of 24 officials, including the Sub-County Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretary, and others, all elected for a five-year term. Their responsibilities include promoting party policies, recruiting new members, raising resources, and ensuring adherence to party principles. They also represent sub-branch members at national conventions, monitor the performance of government officials, and promote civic education. The SBEC meets monthly, with reports submitted annually and vacancies filled as necessary. Gender balance is required, and decisions are made by consensus or vote.
