County Delegates Convention (CDC)

The County Delegates Convention (CDC) is established in each of Kenya's 47 counties, and is responsible for managing county-level party affairs, coordinating decisions from the NDC, and harmonizing county matters. The CDC is composed of various officials including the County Convention Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and leaders from the RAP Women's, Youth, Elders, Interfaith, and Special Interest Groups Leagues, as well as elected members from the County Assembly and Parliament. The CDC holds elections every five years and conducts ordinary or special sessions to discuss approved agenda items. Special sessions can be requested by delegates or the Branch Executive Committee. Decisions are made through voting, and quorum for sessions is 30%.
